This event is titled: Selling or Sustaining - the differences of trading for an exit or trading for a lifestyle
About:
Ideal for those Directors looking to move their business to the next level, anyone thinking of creating a new business from scratch, or wanting to help enable an MBO or sale of their existing recruitment organisation. We'll help you understand how to make a lifestyle business work for you, put in place the plans necessary to exit your existing business or establish a brand new recruitment business with the end goal of a sale in mind.
The event is ONLY open to Director level (and above) recruiters. If you are a Managing Director, Operations Director, Commercial Director or CEO of a recruitment consultancy then please register. Recruitment Directors within corporate firms are also welcome to attend. We are also unfortunately unable to accommodate non executive directors at these events.
Date: Thursday 9th February 2012
Location: RBS Offices, London
Timings: 3.00pm to 6.00pm (after the event you are invited to networking drinks)
Format: Informal networking, speaker sessions and structured networking.

Sarah Mitchell, Investment Director, HB RIDA
Sarah will be giving an overview on the differences between having a recruitment business as a lifestyle, and building a recruitment business with a view to Exit"
Sarah started her career in the Recruitment Industry going down the traditional route of Consultant, Manager, Regional Manager and finally Operations Director. She has worked with and mentored both small and large organisations assisting them to deliver results and to grow. Her strengths are both operational and people managmenet and she works very closely with a number of our businesses providing leadership, coaching and mentoring helping them to achieve their strategic goal.
Adrian Kinnersley, Managing Director of Twenty Recruitment
Adrian has over a decade of recruitment experience, has been through an MBO with Astbury Marsden. He is an equity partner in Twenty Recruitment and is engineering the current exit strategy.
Adrian will be talking about his own experiences of the differences between a lifestyle business and creating, running and managing an organisation for a profitable exit.
Gail Sampson, Managing Director of Knockbuckle Associates
Gail has over a decade of recruitment focusing mainly on senior and executive permanent placements across all sectors. Since the arrival of her second son in 2008, she has been running her lifestyle recruitment and training business from offices in Surrey.
Gail will be sharing her experiences and tips on how to make it a lifestyle business work for you!
RBS will be on hand all afternoon if you have any questions.
Helen Reynolds, Managing Director of HBRIDA will be at the event. She is unable to present but will be on hand to answer questions.
